Admissions and Transitions
When children with special educational needs are transferring to Alston then a member of the Inclusion Team will contact their previous school or the school they are presently attending. This is to ensure we have all the necessary information about the provision that needs to be provided at Alston.
When a child is transitioning from Alston to another school a member of our inclusion team will inform the SENDCo at the receiving school about the child's needs and provision. A smooth transition is always the aim from our school.
